Interviewed Jul 2010 in Atlanta, GA (took 4 weeks)
I was contacted by a Human Resources person by phone to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. The HR person then sent me an email confirmation of the interview time with generic details about the position, the company, etc. On the day of the interview, I was phoned by the hiring manager and we had a very brief (30 minute) talk about the position and my experience. No typical "interview" questions were really asked.

Interviewed May 2010 in Atlanta, GA (took 3 weeks)
Mine was one of 4 resumes submitted by the T. Howard Foundation to MTV hiring managers in the Content Distribution and Marketing Department. After 3 weeks of reviewing resumes, I was contacted to arrange a phone interview. I was given a range of dates and asked what time blocks worked for me. Within a day, I was contacted with a firm interview date and time. I was interviewed by 3 people (one associate, a manager, and a director). The interview lasted 15min and I was notified of my acceptance in 3 days.
Much like the department's culture, my interviewers were fun, friendly, and firm. They emphasized an interest in someone who was genuinely inquisitive, resourceful, and upbeat.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Atlanta, GA (took 1 week)
When I first knew that I was accepted for an interview, the candidate relations coordinator contacted me via email and told me to sign up for 3 convenient times. I then called her and left a message. Never heard anything back and called again. She kind of got a quick attitude but then told me she would confirm the time with me and the recruiter. The interview was set and the recruiter called me promptly the day of the interview. Interviewer was a recruiter who was very easy going. She asked questions strictly based off of my resume. Told me I would receive a response either if they do or don't go with me. I didn't and sent her an email and she told me that I was not selected.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in Atlanta, GA (took 1+ week)
They are a company with very smart people at all levels. The interview was very friendly and conversational. I was asked to do some test work and was then brought in right away.
They covered all travel expenses to and from the work site in Atlanta.
The were willing to empower their employees and not micromanage them.
Overall good place to work.

Interviewed Sep 2007 in Atlanta, GA (took a day)
I met a CNN recruiter at a media fair. He referred me to an HR person at Turner Broadcasting that hires for this position. I had a one-hour behavioral phone interview. The interview also included an oral news quiz. The questions had to do with naming major players on the national and world political scene.

Interviewed May 2007 in Atlanta, GA (took 4 weeks)
At first, I didn't believe in applying online for jobs or internships. I felt that I would never get a response.
I applied for a Turner Broadcasting internship in late 2006. I got a response from an HR rep in February.
Three phone interviews and Three months later...I got the job.

Interviewed Feb 2009 in Atlanta, GA (took 3 weeks)
After an initial phone screen with the recruiter, I met with the hiring manager in mid December and hit it off with him. This was around the holidays, so I was scheduled for a panel interview in January, which also went well. I was told that I was one of the final three candidates and met with the head of the group in mid February. I know they haven't filled the position, but have heard absolutely nothing from the recruiter (subsequent interview schedules were handled by a coordinator with no knowledge of the position) since December. He completely ignores calls. If this complete lack of communications is any indication of what it's like to work there, stay away.
