Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2 days)
There was an information session the day before on-campus. Since we were informed on all the company history and ins and outs, we didn't have to go over that during the interview the next day. I had been scheduled to do an interview with two Turner employees; however, there were scheduling issues and I ended up with one interviewer and he was the younger guy without much say in the decision-making. Therefore the interview was not very thorough and I didn't get the opportunity to talk with the more senior lady who was in charge of all the interviews.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Pittsburgh, PA (took a day)
I just finished the first interview that was 1:1 compus interview. It last about 30 minutes. The questions were pretty normal such as how did you set a goal and accomplish it? how do you made a decision that was related to you and others? how did you impact your peers? how did you came up with a new method when there was one existed?

Interviewed Nov 2010 in New York, NY (took 2 months)
The first interview consisted of a 1:1 with an HR representative. She went through my resume and had a checklist of questions to ask me. In addition to standard questions (Why Turner?), she threw in some behavioral questions (teamwork is very important). I didn't hear back from HR for a little over a month, but was then invited to a second round interview. The second round interview consisted of 30 minute interviews with 6 different Turner employees. Everyone was really nice, but sometimes asked the same questions, so it got a little confusing and I was worried about repeating myself. The employees all loved Turner (of course), but they came across quite genuine.

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took a day)
Interviewed first on the phone with an HR rep. It was very short and straightforward. I was then invited to the final round. This consisted of 3 45-min 1:1 interviews, a lunch with upper-level management, and a site visit. All in all, the interviews were easy. Unfortunately, each interviewer asked the same exact questions. Basically everything revolved around "why do you want to be a field engineer at Turner?" The lunch was fun and the site visit was informative. My biggest problem is that it took Turner a long long time to get back to me. It was a solid interview experience. I thought the interviews went very well but was not given an offer. Do not be shocked if this happens to you. They are looking for a very specific candidate. It's frustrating because I don't know what I could have done differently -- I think they had already decided on me before I walked through the door...then why invite me?

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Portland, OR (took 3 weeks)
After going to an informational meeting about Turner Construction I presented my resume. I recieved a call back to interview with their district manager. He came to my school and interviewed about 30 students. During the interview he said about 10 people would be selected to come to the branch office for a second interview which would be conducted by employees in the branch. About 2-3 weeks later I recieved an email from HR that said I was not selected for the second round interviews.

Interviewed May 2009 (took 3 days)
Very poorly run company, would never want to work with them. Everything they did and portrayed from the minute I stepped in the door exhibited that of a company that does not care about their employees or how they conduct themselves.

The first interview was one on one with the head of HR. It was mostly info about the company and time for me to ask questions. The second round interview consisted of behavioral questions with 4 different engineers. They followed up with me and gave me an offer less than a week later.
