Application Details

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at U.S. Bank in July 2012.

Interview Details

Long process. FIrst, after you put in an application, you have to wait approximately a week until it goes thru HR and then gets funneled to the hiring manager. Most of the time, the hiring manager doesn't get to the req for a few days because they are busy with things that they shouldn't need to do (small business), and then they finally call for an interview

It was a long process and they were only picking 5 people for two states. I had two phone interviews, a panel interview and a Gallup Poll phone interview. The panel interview was much more relaxed than I thought it would be. The interviewers had pages of questions they asked and annotated everything I said. They were very easy to talk to even though the interview questions were detailed questions. After the panel interview, I felt very positive about my chances. I only had one more hurdle and that was the Gallup phone interview. After the Gallup phone interview, I was not selected. The Gallup interview process was recorded and the interviewer sounded disinterested. They do not help you understand the question if you want clarification. Some of the questions needed to be more detailed. They also asked many of the same questions over, just in a different manner.

I was contacted withing an hour of posting my resume and finding the job opening through career builder website. They were looking for a bilingual candidate. The HR recruited asked me questions in english and then unexpectedly told me because the job required a second language that he was going to ask me questions in the particular language. I passed that interview and I was sent to interview with the area manager. One week after the interview I received an email that I didn't get the job.
