Interviewed Oct 2011 in Saint Paul, MN (took 5 weeks)
Initial phone interview followed by a 1:1 interview. The 1:1 interview was fairly involved, so do your homework. Invited for a 2nd interview in front of a panel (presentation/teaching demo for Trainer position). Good communication with contact until after the 2nd interview.....said he would follow-up in two days and did not. I emailed 3 weeks later when I saw the job had been re-posted online. I would have appreciated a straight-up rejection sooner, rather than having to figure out I wasn't selected. Did receive subsequent phone confirmation that I was no longer being considered. Asked for constructive feedback and no follow-up. Feel like they should at least tell me what I could do better since the 2nd interview definitely took some time to put together. Hope they find what they're looking for (apparently someone who can train AND turn water into wine...). Too bad that employers can't show potential employees a bit of courtesy and respect; perhaps dodged a proverbial bullet if this is the way employees are treated!

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Minneapolis, MN (took 2 weeks)
The entire process took two weeks from time of application to interview. I applied online for a position as Procurement Contract Analyst 2. About 5-7 days later I was contacted by email to schedule an in person interview. We met next week.
The interview was fairly standard. We discussed my experiences and why I wanted to work for US Bank. He explained that some candidates would be selected for a second round of interviews and that that round would be a panel interview.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Minneapolis, MN (took 4+ weeks)
I contacted a recruiter at US Bank just to keep up my network and she happened to have a position she thought I might like. I chatted with the hiring manager and decided I was curious enough to find out more. I was essentially window shopping so I treated it much like an informational interview. I met individually with the hiring manager, a junior peer to the opening, two peers to the manager, and the department head. It was enjoyable to chat with each of them and while I wasn't completely sold on the position, I found enough things to like about it to continue in the process. I was promised a second interview but then the hiring manager suddenly couldn't make it. Following up a month later I learned the opening had apparently been moved to report to one of his peers. I suspect they may have just been window shopping as well.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Minneapolis, MN (took 4 weeks)
Started off with a phone interview. I applied for the job off the US Bank website and received a call about a week and a half later. Phone interview was with HR -- very professional, he just talked about my skills and my career goals. A week later, the hiring manager contacted me to set up an face to face interview. I was disappointed that they couldn't get me in for a face to face interview for another 3 weeks, due to their schedule.
1:1 interview consisted of meeting with the hiring manager, then two other developers, and the director of the group. The interview was probably the easiest interview I've ever had -- which translates into, they didn't ask me dumb, cliched questions. The questions they asked me related directly to my skills and the position--I was quite impressed. No "What are your greatest weaknesses" or "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" garbage. Because the interview wasn't riddled with cliches, I was relaxed and the interview went great. HR reps and hiring managers should take a clue from these guys!
Post-interview follow up went QUICK. Again, I was VERY impressed. I interviewed on a Wednesday and had the offer on Friday.
Negotiation Details
No room to negotiate. But that's fine, they offered me a lot more than what I was making at my previous employer.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Minneapolis, MN (took 2 days)
Phone interview very professional. Then came the face to face which was with the hiring manager. I got a chance to tour the office and it seems very dirty with employees that didn't seem too happy. The hiring manager explained the basic job and how they seem to over manage everything (breaks, call talk time, etc). I spoke to two people who quit there and declined the offer after their feedback
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Talked to two people who said it's bad to work there. Said they were miserable every day. Also based on my feeling manager was kind of a jerk and place came off as dirty so decided to decline offer. Pay was below expected.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Minneapolis, MN (took 3 weeks)
I applied through campus recruiting site. I was contacted for an initial screening phone interview. Phone interview was behavioral and a little bit of knowledge based questions. After that I was invited to the office for 3 half hour 1 on1 interviews consisting of similar questions. I was offered the position within a week of second interview. Interviewers were very friendly and nice during the interview. They really appreciated questions that I posed to them.

Interviewed Sep 2008 in Minneapolis, MN (took 1+ week)
My interview is what I would call the gauntlet. I sat across the table with five different people in my first interview and they all graded me on different points for which they had outline questions. They scored me individually and averaged the scores outside of the interview. I was not necessarily qualified for the position that I was offered in the fact that I did not have the schooling finished, but I scored higher on personabillity than the other applicants.
It was quite a lengthy process however.

Networking is key in this environment. You have to know someone to get a foot in the door as many employers seem to only be using referrals these days.

Interviewed Jul 2008 in Minneapolis, MN (took 2 days)
Initial interview was over the phone. It was easy just simple questions like why I was interested in the position and what made me want to work for the company.
Second interview was in person. Asked me a series of questions--went through my resume and asked about specific job experience, asked about any prior sales experience, and asked general questions about cash handling and banking.
