Interviewed Jul 2011 in Orlando, FL (took a day)
I obtained the interview by going through my university's experential learning office. The interview was with the specific financial advisor that was looking to hire me. I was asked a few general questions about my school work and why I was interested in Finance. Also asked my biggest strength and my biggest weakness. It was formal, but going through my school's experential learning office definitely helped.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
I was required to make a phone call to my supervisor to make an appointment with him. On the day of interview, the interview between me and my supervisor was really well. It was turned out to be a personal conversation since we have the same background in science. People in the office are really nice because they show me everything in the office. I was so interested because of the high floor and glass office.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Stamford, CT (took 4+ weeks)
Interviewed first on campus, mostly behavioral questions. Got an email about being invited to their Superday the following week and traveled out to Stamford for the second round interview. At Superday, we had individual and group interviews, still mostly behavioral questions. Got a call a week later that I was chosen.

Interviewed Aug 2011 (took a day)
Was called on the phone after my resume had been looked at and asked to come in. Was pretty much handed the job on site. There was a drug test and background check, but the offer was pretty much given over the phone.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Jersey City, NJ (took a day)
I was prescreened through a phone call with the head of HR. They then set me up for an interview in Jersey City a few days later. I interviewed with a total of 5 people each one on one. The first interview was by far the most difficult. The HR manager came in wearing pink pajamas and sneakers. The questions she asked were not difficult, but her ice cold demeanor made it difficult or impossible to create rapport. I would compare the first interview with an interrogation. The next four 1:1 interviews were much more pleasant and generally assessed whether we could comfortably work together.
