Wealth Management at UBS Global Asset Management

No Offer – Interviewed in Weehawken, NJ Feb 2012 – Reviewed Feb 11, 2012

Interview Details – Interviewers were great people, some of the nicest I met in the industry. Interview wasn't difficult really, just more behaviorial than technical and consisted of 2, 30 minute one-on-one interviews. Advice: if they offer a pre-interview reception, attend it. It's a good way to meet the interviewers before hand and get to know them

Manager at UBS Global Asset Management

No Offer – Interviewed in Weehawken, NJ Jan 2011 – Reviewed Mar 14, 2011

Interview Details – Applied online and was contacted by the recruiter/HR department. I was very impressed with the recruiting process, as they were very 'upfront' and worked with me through the process.

Easy ferry ride (but expensive) from Midtown.

Met with the HR people as well as 2 people from the business unit. No curve balls, they were truly interested in finding someone that fit in with the culture, had the background they were looking for, and would mesh with the other people in the department.

It's important to be prepared before you walk in the door, to know about the company and why you would think that you would be a good fit. There are plenty of resources available on the company website to make this task easy.

People were approachable and easy to talk to. It would have been nice if they made me an offer, it seemed like it would be a good group to work with.

Overall good experience. Hopefully, I will get the chance to interview there again.

No Offer – Interviewed in New York, NY Aug 2009 – Reviewed Feb 13, 2011

Client Service Associate at UBS Global Asset Management

No Offer – Interviewed in Chicago, IL May 2010 – Reviewed Sep 26, 2010

Interview Details – I interviewed with three people very briefly, and the whole process felt very rushed. I was asked very few questions. After the interview I was NOT contacted regarding their hiring decision and no feedback was provided. My calls and emails were not responded to. With the way they treat their candidates, I would not recommend working for this company.
