First, I submitted my resume. Then the supervisor contacted me to send two references. After that, I got an email to schedule an interview with the supervisor and senior clerk. About a week later, I received my letter of offering for the position. At the interview, I felt the friendliness and welcoming attitude of the workforce.

The interview consisted of all applicants for the position taking a tour of the facility in question and being asked if responsibilities sounded reasonable. It wasn't so much an interview as it was an introduction to the job. There was a question sheet to fill in short answers about your idea of work and responsibility.

These securitization trusts include government-sponsored enterprises and private entities which may offer credit enhancement features to mitigate the risk of prepayment and default associated with these mortgages. Since residential mortgages in the United States have the option to pay more than the required monthly payment (curtailment) or to pay off the loan in its entirety (prepayment), the monthly cash flow of an MBS is not known in advance, and therefore presents risk to MBS investors.

It took a long time to hear back from the recruiter, so at first I thought I had been rejected. The interview was mostly just a conversation between me and the interviewer. She asked me to elaborate on some of my work experience and asked me a few questions about my working style, probably to see if I would fit in with the flow of their office. The interview lasted about 15 minutes. This was for the Development Office of Student Affairs.

Not many tough questions are asked.

We only had to submit an application. So there is no interview. There is the recruiting visit, which is the best part about the whole experience. You get to meet with current graduate students as well as the professors.

This job was primarily the result of networking. After many email exchanges, I met with the Director and Assistant Director of the program for an hour and a half before I was hired. We discussed pedagogical styles at length.
