I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at University of California Berkeley (Berkeley, CA) in Sep 2008
Interview
I applied, then someone contacted me by phone. I met initially with a small panel that consisted of the supervisor, another analyst of a slightly higher ranking than the position I was applying for, and another manager from a different dept. they asked about 10 questions. I then provided a writing sample.

I interviewed at University of California Berkeley (Berkeley, CA)
Interview
Easy; as expected. I only had 2 rounds - however, I am sure this varies by department and job. Done completely over video - no tests, just talking. No panels or writing assignment.
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at University of California Berkeley (Berkeley, CA) in Sep 2022
Interview
It was exceedingly slow. I was called months after interview to see if I was still interested. Not even sure what job they are calling about it was so long ago.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard question about what would cause you not to hire me at the end of the interview, they told me they could not answer that question.
I applied online. I interviewed at University of California Berkeley in Jan 2019
Interview
Submitted App online and heard from a member of the team ~4 weeks later. Set up a phone interview for the following week and then never heard back after the interview despite followup. I find rejection more professional than no response at all. This experience makes me not want to work for the University.
