Very Difficult Interview

Personal Assistant CIO Interview

Personal Assistant CIO
Amsterdam (Netherlands)

The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at UPC Broadband in February 2010.

Interview Details – First interview for job through employment agency.
Second interview by HR Manager (she was excellent).
Third interview by outgoing PA and CIO - they were both in a world of their own, rude, crude and socially unexceptable. CIO has a Napoleon complex and every other word out of his mouth is profanity and he is proud to rule by fear. Person hired for the PA job stayed 2 1/2 weeks.

Interview Question – How much time would you require to take over job from PA?   View Answer

Program Manager Interview

Program Manager

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2 days - interviewed at UPC Broadband in April 2010.

Interview Details – Whole recruitement process is good and the interview is very professional. A lot of focus is shown on your skill sets. Normally there is a phone interview to have a basic screening done. If you are pass the phone interview, then you are invited for a face to face interview with two or more persons from the company.

Unfortunate part of the interview process is that, if you are not selected for the next phase, there is no official communication and you simply wait for weeks and then give up, thinking you probably didn't get selected. I hope they change this and are transparent in their communication, whether you are selected or rejected.

Interview Question – What are your top 3 strong and weak points?   Answer Question
