Received and Declined Offer
|
Interviewed Sep 2011 in Atlanta, GA (took 4+ weeks)
1. Applied online and received a call back from an HR rep for a phone interview.
2. Completed phone interview with HR a few days later. Scheduled in person interview at HQ the next week.
3. This is where things got strange. I was supposed to meet with someone from HR but she wasn't there because she decided to go out to lunch during my appt. Additionally, the 2 people from finance I was supposed to meet with weren't there. I ended up meeting with 2 other people from finance and the interview was out of the ordinary. They didn't ask about my resume at all and one of the guys kept making negative references about liberals. I couldn't tell if he didn't like liberals or if he was a liberal and was mocking conservatives. It was uncomfortable and figured they didn't like me and I wouldn't get a call back.
4. Got a call back from HR the next day that they liked me and wanted to setup a personality test so I took the test the next week.
5. After taking the test they informed me I had an in-person interview with the director in 5 minutes. Not a huge deal but I do have a job so it makes it awkward to be gone for 4 hours during the day when you tell your boss you're leaving for 1 hour.
6. Had a panel interview a couple weeks later and passed.
7. Received offer which was well below what I make now. I told them what I made in the initial phone interview and they never said their offer would be lower than what I was currently making. Also, I talked to a few current employees and the reviews were, let's just say, less than positive. They pretty much agreed with all of the negative reviews on here. I passed.
