Interviewed Dec 2010 (took a day)
I applied online and attended a group presentation and initial interview screening. The presentation was an informational session about the company, the driver helper position requirements and what a typical day looked like. The interview was easy: the interviewer just reviewed the personal info I filled out online and the dates I was available to work. I would suggest being available to work for 2 weeks or more to get the position. The whole process took about 2 hours.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Wyoming, MI (took a day)
I applied online and an HR representative called me in to an informational session for the driver helper position. When I arrived there were at least 15 others and we all sat in a small room together. The HR representative handed out packets of information on the position and reviewed what the position entailed. They do this in an attempt to weed out the people who won't actually be fit for the job. Then, if you stayed after the session, you get called in to talk for 7 minutes with one of the representatives about your availability, employment and education history, and when you can start. Then the rep gave me a piece of paper and told me to call the number on the paper the next morning and they would let me know if I had the job.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Murfreesboro, TN (took a day)
The interview was super-easy. The interviewer, named Clint, did not ask any interview type questions. He just went over UPS's policies, explained the job I was applying for, and made sure I was still interested afterward. After the interview I filled out some information on the computer. I mostly just had to check "I agree" on boxes that say "I understand the drug policy" and stuff like that. Be sure to bring two forms of ID.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Tualatin, OR (took a day)
He asked what my name and phone number were and where I lived. Then he asked about my work history and if I had any relevent experience. He asked if I had the flexibility/availability to do the job. All this information was on my online app, so I think they were just checking to see if I had a pulse. He told me about their seasonal bike delivery jobs.
