I applied through college or university and the process took 6+ months - interviewed at US Air Force in October 2008.

Interview Details – Simple,
1) Pass a General Exam
2) Clean Record (you can have a small criminal record. Just not library of crimes)
3) Clean Credit Report

Interview Question – How flexible are you for departing? Can you leave 1 year from now? Can you leave next week?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – Just need to negotiate your career field. And this is the most important thing you can do in at the recruiters office.
