Interview Details – As an intern, my entire interview was a behavioral one. No position-related questions.

Interview Details – I submitted a resume, was called and offered a job. No interview, no way of asking what to expect of the job. It was a blind decision, all because the hiring manager didn't have time to meet, his schedule was to busy.

Negotiation Details – There was no negotiation. Salary is pretty much set because of the government pay scale.

Interview Details – Very quick for Government. Interviewed on Tuesday and was offered job the following Monday. That said - could not start until the following month. That part was slow (getting the required drug test, paperwork submitted, forms, etc.) I am not surprised - this process was faster than most in the Government service.
Interview Question – In this job you will be required to work with subordinates of varying experience. Describe your leadership style - how will you work to educate and advance subordinates who are not as capable while allowing those with significant experience to operate with greater latitude? Negotiation Details – Non existant. Salary was directed. Take it or leave it. I was surprised by the inflexibility of this point - as I had prior military service directly related to the Deputy Director job I was taking. Given the impending hiring freeze - I was not in a position to leverage a negotiation.

Interview Details – I had applied as a college intern and had no real interview. The only question I was asked was if I still wanted the job (it took them 3 months to respond to my application).

Interview Details – There was no interview, I applied online with USAJOBS. Received a an unofficial letter via email offering me the position. Followed the information in the email. Called and spoke with personnel, who officially offered me the job. Informed me that I needed to go on base and fill out the necessary paper work. Within the week I started the job,
