Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Boca Raton, FL May 2013 – Reviewed May 14, 2013 New
Interview Details – I applied online after seeing the position posted on beyond.com and was contacted almost a month later by a manager. I had my interview 2 days after the phone call. It was very easy going, all the staff I met including the manager were very bubbly, happy and friendly, which I had not experienced at other interviews for similar work, and everyone seems to really like working for the company. I got a call 3 business days later saying I was hired and my salary and starting date.
Interview Question – None at all. Was very easy going and I would say even fun for an interview. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I didn't negotiate, they offered me the salary I asked for.

Heads up, the assessment questions you answer while applying online have everything to do with whether or not you are called back. Those results either green light, yellow light, or red light your application.
The interview was basic and the questions asked were generic. They focus mostly on your history, ability to adapt, and sales comfortability.
It was held in their very small, very unorganized office. My initial interview was held with both the general and district manager so there was no need for a second.
Interview Question – None. View Answer
Negotiation Details – The company is fairly flexible in negotiations. The cap they will pay most managers is 22/hr. So don't feel afraid to ask what you're worth.

Interview Details – I applied for my current position a month before I was contacted. I was called in for a group interview as this was originally for a seasonal slot. There was actually a large group of people. ( 8 total ) and there was 3 positions available. The assistant manager/ Hiring manager went through basic questions and then we individually answered. We were all there for about an hour and we were told they were so behind with the interviews that the three people would be contacted that very night with a job offer. Sure enough, I received a call that night with the offer. I accepted. I was hired on 3 months later as a regular employee.
Interview Question – What is your biggest weakness ? View Answer
Negotiation Details – There's little to NO room for any negotiations. I've learned the company wants to pay as little as possible for it's work.
Declined Offer – Interviewed in Mar 2013 – Reviewed Mar 27, 2013
Interview Details –
Spoke mostly about Client Service. ULTA wants to be more Client Service driven.
I was little brother when she stated the company I currently work is a low volume when compared to ULTA. When I tired to explain to her that my company was international etc. She seem to not care..I wished she knew her research better of my company.
Interview Question – Just basic client service questions. Be prepared for ULTA to ask questions in regards to the salon. Answer Question
Reason for Declining – Once again if she knew the volume I was coming from she would know to offer more money. I am third in charge at my current job and for me the take the highest position in a store at ULTA It would of been a pay cut.
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Bourbonnais, IL Oct 2012 – Reviewed Mar 22, 2013

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Saint Louis, MO Dec 2012 – Reviewed Feb 27, 2013
Interview Details – I submitted my résumé and completed the online application process. It was very detailed, but worth it. When I returned home from school I received a phone call asking for an in person interview. It was very informal, but I think that it pays off to come in well-dressed and with make-up and hair done.
Interview Question – Of all the brands sold at ULTA, which do you use the most and why do you like them? View Answer
Negotiation Details – I was seasonal and had little retail experience, so there was really not much room for negotiation.
