Store manager called me and seemed to be interested in what i was saying and my more than ample experience (2 years cosmetic retail management). We talked for about 20 minutes but she never followed up with me.

You must apply online. After speaking with the General Manager for a few moments, I was invited for a 1 on 1 interview. At the conclusion of the interview (about 45min), I was told that the District Manager would be calling me during the next week. We worked out a time for the phone call and I waited. The phone interview was about 30 min and had great additional information the new General Manager was unable to answer. I was offered the position two days later.
