Internal Audit Rookie at Under Armour

No Offer – Interviewed in Baltimore, MD Feb 2011 – Reviewed Mar 25, 2011

Interview Details – I received a quick phone call, was asked a few simple questions and went really smoothly. Was then offered a video conference interview. Spoke to the same man for about half of the video interview and again simple questions and went smoothly. Spoke with two internal audit employees for the second half. I waited about 2 weeks without hearing anything. Emailed and was never responded to. Not very professional.

Sales Associate at Under Armour

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Orlando, FL Mar 2011 – Reviewed Aug 5, 2012

Interview Details – It began as a group interview process and eventually a one on one interview to confirm wheher you are a potential candidate. Considering they were looking for individuals with college degrees, the questions were pretty basic as far as past qualifications and future desires. It was a part time position during college so the manager understood it wasn't expected to be a long term position with the company.

Assistant Manager at Under Armour

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Dec 2010 – Reviewed Apr 24, 2012

Interview Details – Met with a "hiring manager" for about an hour. Friendly, kid was very young, and not really able to understand what he was looking for - he had a sheet of pre-typed questions. The next day I got a call from a Regional Manager, had an hour long phone conversation which was friendly and very open with two way conversation and not a "grilling session". A couple of days later I met with the hiring manager and Regional Manager in person at a coffee place for about another half-hour. About a week later got a call from the Regional with the offer, see negotiation below, got a second call a day later with final offer and accepted. Never met my store manager till a day before our job fair.

Interview Question – Have you ever been at work where there was an emergency such as a fire, tornado, armed robbery, etc. and how did you handle it?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – Was offered a (expected) lowball offer, was able to go over my experiences and past pay again and was told it wasn't a deal breaker and they'd call me back. Two days later I got a call with a slightly higher offer and accepted.
