Interview Details – It began as a group interview process and eventually a one on one interview to confirm wheher you are a potential candidate. Considering they were looking for individuals with college degrees, the questions were pretty basic as far as past qualifications and future desires. Interview Details – Met with a "hiring manager" for about an hour. Friendly, kid was very young, and not really able to understand what he was looking for - he had a sheet of pre-typed questions. The next day I got a call from a Regional Manager, had an hour long phone conversation which was friendly and very open with two way conversation and not a "grilling session". A couple of days later I met with the hiring manager and Regional Manager in person at a coffee place for about another half-hour. About a week later got a call from the Regional with the offer, see negotiation below, got a second call a day later with final offer and accepted. Never met my store manager till a day before our job fair.
Interview Question – Have you ever been at work where there was an emergency such as a fire, tornado, armed robbery, etc. and how did you handle it? View Answer
Negotiation Details – Was offered a (expected) lowball offer, was able to go over my experiences and past pay again and was told it wasn't a deal breaker and they'd call me back. Two days later I got a call with a slightly higher offer and accepted.
