Interviewed Apr 2009 in Zagreb (Croatia) (took 2 days)
I got contacted by phone after applying online for the job. I had to take the IQ and personality test first and then I got called to an interview.
The test is a two part - IQ and personality test - it lasts 3 hours altogether.
At the interview, there are 3 representatives of the company: Branch office director, HR representative and a regional director.
They ask questions by interupting each other, so you have to concentrate really hard and try answer all of the questions and back the answers by facts if you can.
After the interview which lasts from 30 - 45 minutes, you get an answer by phone. Mine was: you got the job. After that, you get called again and you go to the branch office to get presented with the contract.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Milano (Italy) (took 2 days)
I was interviewed by Unicredit in late February following a short meeting during a financial career fair organised by my business school. I don't consider my first contact with the bank as an interview, but rather a high level chat because they simply asked me what position I was looking for and a convenient time for the interview. My interview started at around 14:00 p.m. and it was with someone else from HR dept. She explained the process, and asked a few motivational questions, but (surprise!!!) not a single competency or technical one.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in Milan (Italy) (took a day)
We were invited, after a brief phone interview, to attend a one day event in Muenchen (an assessment center).
After a debriefing we candidates went through the following tests:
* group dynamics (reach a decision together on a topic)
* simulation of a deal with a client
* case study + presentation
* analytical tests
* interviews with HR + managers
All the process was held in English, in a very structured way. Overall the event was managed in a really efficient way.
HOWEVER…
I successfully passed the assessment center and I was told straight on that day. I was also told that I would have had in maximum two weeks from that day a brief interview with a manger, and I would have started the programme within two months. Despite this, I had the following problem (chronological order):
1) They proposed me new job positions compared to the one I originally applied for, in different cities compared to the one I initially requested
2) They didn’t respect the start date of the programme, which was fixed for two months from the day of the assessment center
3) …in the end I had no interview at the time (!!!!!)
4) I was told to wait until the beginning of December at worst (next round of the programme would have started in March anyway, they said), but I haven’t had any relevant news until the beginning of January
5) In January I was told to choose by myself among different positions for the next round of the programme
6) I had to reformulate two weeks later my choices, as some job positions they sent me before contained an incomplete description of the requirements so I could not apply because of lack of skills (language skills)
7) The programme start date was switched again from March to May.
8) In the end, after having a bunch of interviews, relevant problems with travel expenses reimbursements (they didn’t have a clue who should have reimbursed me), standing a significant amount of stress, they didn’t insert me into the programme. The feedback (why not?) from the HR was not always clear. It was not relevant anymore that I passed successfully an assessment center.

Interviewed May 2009 in New York, NY (took 5 weeks)
Nice people, they ask you about the experience on your resume, asking deep questions and in which way you were able to manage issues. You need to let feel them that you are in charge during the interview, and I found also very important asking questions about your interviewer background.

Interviewed May 2009 in Munich (Germany) (took a day)
I mailed my CV to one of the recruiters and they scheduled an interview with a potential supervisor. The interviewer was very nice, the company climate was stimulating and the interview itself went very well. That's why I decided to accept the offer I got. Advice: Know your CV and why you are interested in the job. Also beware technical questions about the job or your previous study.
The company has got a nice and warm atmosphere, with the downside of a not quite competitive salary.
