I interveiwed for Unisea at the employment agency in Moses Lake WA>The interview began with a film that showed the operations of the plant.The next part was a question and answer period. The answers given were vague and not directly answered.The next part was a 1 on 1 oral interview with a woman at a desk with a paper and pencil.The questions were to the point and questions that any company would ask. Can you do the job? What are your strong points?Why do you want to work for our Co? I think that the woman that hosted the interviews were highly trained and looking for certain specific words and comments from interviewees. Id asay they are looking for people motivated by money,singkle people that dont have anyone that might interfere with their work and people that knbows what hard work is.People that are able to work with others well and can endure extreme weather and long hours. I was sent a letter a month later to say I had been hired and Im looking forward to my first trip to Alaska.Im a hard worker and have worked construction all my life so I have no doubt that I can handle what comes my way there. I hope to make some money and come back in one peice! My worry... how safety oriented are the people i will be working beside?
