Interviewed Jul 2009 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) (took 4+ weeks)
I met the Company representatives at my university career fair. I gave them my CV there. they later called me for interview and I met with one person. After shortlisting candidates, they arranged for second interviews with a higher manager. I met with the second manager and had my interview. Within a week of this interview, they offered me a job.

Interviewed Jan 2008 (took a day)
I filled out a recruitment form from Unilever and got a phone interview after a few days. Questions on the form were the typical behavioral questions and details about my academic standing. The phone interview was very impromptu. The interviewer just called without prior notice. Interviewer just asked me if it was a convenient time. I said yes so we proceeded with the interview. Interview is a bit casual but they ask you about your past achievements/experiences. Prepare a lot of examples especially those that have something to do with leadership, teamwork, etc.

Unilever in a large company so the interview process is slow. Once you apply online an outsourced HR company (not part of Unilever) call you for a phone interview. If you pass that the next step is meeting one on one with your hiring manager.
The questions are typical brand managment questions: make sure you reasearched the brand you are interviewing for, P&L, typical consumer for the brand etc.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Karachi (Pakistan) (took 4+ weeks)
People were extremely unprofessional. They took my profile from Linkedin site and straight called on mobile number with no email contact. They confirmed interview to be held next day on telephone and i wait for three hours glued to phone and then they didn't call. After two days they called and apologised and then promised to call again next week. Meanwhile I lost interest with them and position. A month later they told me that they have internally hired a person....lol

Interviewed Aug 2008 (took 2 weeks)
The first step was a short interview asking about previous experiences of the job, leadership, management of pressure, goals and savings acomplished the actual job.
Second step: there was a metting with all the contestans.
They give a case that had to be solve in group, then was a presentacion of the results they give us cardboards, computers to make it.
Here gets more "points" the person that makes the presentacion because has the opportunity to explain the ideas, facts etc.
