Interviewed Mar 2010 in Charleston, SC (took 4 days)
I applied via an posting advertised on Craigslist- the first step was an online application and resume submission. Then, a phone interview with the manager, and the following day she called back to set up an in-store interview. We spoke in person the following day.

Negotiation Details
No negotiation- it was take it or leave it and she kept insisting that "competitive salespeople end up making great money"- what she really meant was that pushy salespeople that fool big spenders into spending too much can make commission, but probably won't because the person will come back and return most of what they bought.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.
