Interviewed Jan 2010 in Chicago, IL (took 3 days)
I was contacted by HR, set up a phone interview with the dept HR contact, spoke with him, then was invited to campus twice - once to interview with dept Sr. Management, again for a panel interview. All in all it was about 14 hours of interviewing. Quite taxing!

Interviewed Apr 2007 (took 2 weeks)
I posted my resume to the internal HR site, applied for the position, and was contacted by their HR person a couple days later. After speaking with HR and confirming qualifications and expectations (previous duties and current salary and anticipated salary), my information was forwarded to the department head. The head contacted me via telephone for a "fit" test and i was asked to come in person to the company to meet with colleagues and supervisors I would directly work with.
