I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at University of Washington in August 2012.
Interview Details –
Applied through HuskyJobs (http://careers.washington.edu/HuskyJobs).
Had one phone interview with the hiring manager and then had a panel interview with the entire time to answer questions on my portfolio and resume.
A lot of questions were on my passion, what web design and coding work I've done before, what classes I took that is relevant to this position, and what I want to work on with the team.
Interview Question – What do you think of jQuery? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – No room for negotiation, this is a student position.
Pros: The health benefits are terrific and if you are in a position where you can know the term of your employment (and at the necessary level) there are great benefits in retirement. – Full Review
