Valassis Purchasing Manager Interview

Application was initiated online on Valassis' career website. Received response via email indicating application was received. Initial communications with company consisted of call from an HR Specialist. Shortly after, a phone interview was scheduled which lasted about 30 minutes. Background and experience were introductory questions followed by questions specific to role. A one-on-one interview was held with person to whom this role reported. The interview lasted about 1-1 1/2 hours. Another interview was scheduled with other peers to assess skills and background. The final interview was with a member of senior leadership which lasted about 30 minutes. An offer was extended about two weeks later which was accepted.
