Interview Details – Applications must be submitted online. Be sure to fill out all required questions, or your application is automatically kicked out of the interview candidate pool. Also, attach a resume and cover letter. Applications missing a resume are almost always discarded, and no cover letter means an even higher chance of getting kicked out. For better results, be sure to attach letters of recommendation if possible. Next, prepare for a lengthly wait while they select candidates to interview. Almost all full-time positions will require a second interview as well. After the interview, you can except a phone call the same day or the next if you are selected for a position. If you are not called right away, except an e-mail in two or more weeks that thanks you for taking part in the interview process.... Last, you will be required to submit to a drug test before Human Resources can formally offer you the position.

Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Nothing. Career Service positions almost always start out at the base salary for that position. Professional and Administrative positions give you more room to negotiate based upon experience.

Interview Details – I was asked to do a short demo of my teaching style on the board, and treat the interviewers like students. Then they asked questions like, how would I handle certain teaching problems with students, how do I teach to different learning styles, what are some of my formative and summative teaching assessments, would I be interested in spending extra time doing professional development, what trends do I see in teaching math in the next 5 years.
Interview Question – I didn't know the definition of summative and formative, and that hurt, and I didn't have a good answer for the "next 5 years" question. View Answers (10)
