I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Valmont Industries in April 2014.

    Interview Details

First, I was given a short phone interview to discuss my qualifications and why I was interested in the job. Then, I was brought in for a 4-part, in-person interview that took about 2 and a half hours. I interviewed with the team members, hiring manager, and director of the department. I was informed that they were very eager to fill the role quickly, and I received an offer the same day.

You apply online and are contacted by HR representative and scheduled for the interview. Upon arriving to the facility you are left waiting over 30 minutes without any contact or acknowledgement of your presence. I walked out of the waiting area after 30 minutes as this was a clear indication of the type of people managing these sites.

The hiring process was extremely thorough and professional.

Initial interviews were conducted via telephone. Following this, personal on-site interviews occured with team members to evaluate fit and basic functional expertise. As the interview process evolved, a rigorous telephone interview was conducted with a 3rd party professional interview company to evaluate personality and management skills.
