I applied through a staffing agency and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at Value labs.
Interview Details – I gave Sharepoint Tech Lead Role interview at ValueLabs few days back. It was telephonic round first, where a senior Technical manager asked really difficult questions. All the questions were based on conceptual knowledge rather than code/examples etc. He was very strange in his approach while asking the questions, But at the end it really went well for me.
Interview Question – He asked some managerial questions also, for which I was not at all ready for. Answer Question
I applied through other source and the process took 3 months - interviewed at Value labs.
Interview Details – written test. after 1 and a half month they call for interview and ask my my current and expected ctc. I clear the interview on the same day. They told me they will call again for 2nd technical round. after one week they call me, i go for the 2nd round. after one week i call them for feedback. I was told i cleared and they are waiting for the slots from the director for the director round. No feedback for another 2 weeks. I email them and then i get a call for the director round. Before the director round they ask you your current ctc and expected ctc. Next day i send an email for feedback. They call me and tell me to come over for HR discussion. Now here comes the best part. they offer me 30% less than my current CTC. forget the hike they didnt even bother to offer me close to my current ctc. From the first interview I had been clear on my current and expected. I know i will not get my expected ctc but atleast did not expect such an insulting offer.
Interview Question – no difficult questions at all. All are 10 minutes interviews and just a few questions asked on your previous experience and basic sql queries. Written test is all about ISQTB. Answer Question
Reason for Declining – Insulting offer of 30% less than my current ctc and not ready to negotiate. They think Value labs is the best testing company in India. You bet if it is, they would never give such an insulting offer inspite of me holding a Masters degree. They think a masters degree from the US is useless for them
