After applying online,there was an initial phone interview with the HR. Then there was an IQ test which consisted of Math, Verbal and some Pattern questions. There was no response from HR after the test.

After using a personal connection to find out about opportunities, I was shuffled off to the HR department where I was told the first hurdle was to take an IQ test.
There was three sections to the test:
None of these were particularly hard, they just took a while to figure out.
I was contacted by HR the next days saying I did not receive a sufficient score so they are passing on me.
oh well, at least if was only an hour of my time.

I had applied for a Associate QA Analyst (Entry Level) position and a recruiter contacted me from Ventyx asking if I was still open for the position and I was willing to take up a written test because I was still searching for jobs. I prepared and gave in my best for the online test.
It has been over 2 months and I have been calling and emailing the recruiter to find out if I had cleared the written test. Even if the candidate is not selected, isnt it a good process to send a courtesy email that the canditate has not been selected (or am I demanding a lot from the corporate recruiter ? ).
What is worrying me is when I check the linkedin profile of the corporate recruiter it shows that the recruiter has switched companies after initiating the application process. I am trying and I will still try to get the right person to know more about my test.
