First round of interview with questions on technical knowledge and understanding of processes. The interviewer was very friendly and make one at ease immediately during the interview. Nice working environment and makes one feel good to be part of the company.

After the phone interview, the recruiter followed up with me to say the hiring manager said my background was too specialized. However, he picked out something from a long time ago in my experience, and told the recruiter that I wasn't qualified. But, my background as a generalist was more comprehensive than the job requirements in the posting. I felt like the hiring manager was trying to find ways to disqualify me.
