Interviewed Oct 2011 in Irving, TX (took 1 week)
Verizon Contacted me 1 week ago after my online submission for a Customer Service position in sales. I completed a hour and a half online Assessment, after the assessment I was contacted two days later for an appointment to complete another assessment as well as a Rep simulator. Both tests I was considered qualified my next step was to have a Structured Interview (face to face interview). During this interview I was asked a series of Customer Service Questions in which I had to give my response. Later that Afternoon I received an email I did not qualify for the position. In my opinion I did a great job. I have been in the Customer Service field for 5-10 years and I enjoy interacting with customers. I also worked for the Internal Revenue Service for a few years and was appalled that I have what it takes to review and adjust millions of taxpayers records, however do not have the skill to answer the phones at Verizon. I found the interviewers to be friendly.

Interviewed Apr 2008 in Irving, TX (took a day)
It's contractor position but usually very stable. Interview was recommended by another friend inside Verizon. The manager just met me for an 1:1 interview and asked several technical questions. Very basic and should be fine without any problem. Then it's finished and I got the offer.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Dallas, TX (took a day)
I was interviewed during the holiday season during a job fair, so it probably but down on my interview time. The brought a lot of experience to the table, so I was very confident. I interviewed in a panel in front of the district manager, two store managers, and another area sales manager. Very professional in nature, but unstructured. The simply fired random sales questions at me. Since I was experienced and had a good track record, they were impressed. A subsequent interview with the HR Manager in another room the same day sealed the deal. They did test my bilingual skills as well.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Dallas, TX (took 5 days)
I really woudn't describe it much. It was basically an intern job, and of course, nothing to sneeze at. It was lame, lame lame..but what can I say..# Generally, during the interview process, you interview with a representative of Human Resources who further assesses your skills and qualifications, describes in more detail the hiring process, and gives you the opportunity to ask questions to learn more about Sandoz's career opportunities, culture, benefits plan, etc. Further interviews may be scheduled with hiring managers based on the initial assessment and interview results.
