Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Towson, MD Apr 2013 – Reviewed May 19, 2013 New
Interview Details – I had applied in person and handed my application in to an assistant manager. They said they were hiring and reviewing applications, admired my handwriting and proceeded to tell me that if I had the qualifications they were looking for they'd contact me. About 1 or 2 weeks later I got the call from VS saying they'd like to schedule an interview the following week. I walked in to the store about 10 minutes early and told an associate I was here for an interview and she told a manager. The manager came out and brought me and guy in to be interviewed. We were brought into the back and into the interview/training room. She asked me and him several questions and it was very laid back but still professional. She asked how I would make a woman feel comfortable for a fitting and asked the guy I was being interviewed with the same question and how he would function in a female focused company. The manager was very nice and very laid back. She made jokes and asked about our lives and seemed interested and genuine. She also asked us what position we could see ourselves working in. I answered as cashier or sales associate. She suggested I be a cashier because my resume showed that I was organized. She reviewed our applications and unsual from other interviews I've been in, she told us what she liked about our resumes and what stood out. She said they get tons of applications a day and for us two to be sitting there, we were one of the top resumes. That was very assuring and I was pretty sure and very hopeful that I was going to be offered a job. I love the company and I feel it'd be a great company to work for.

Interview Details – I applied in person on 4/24, received a call the next day about setting up an interview for the next week 5/3. There were two people interviewing me, and there was another candidate being interviewed with me. We sat in a common area in the mall. The interview was fun, pretty informal. The interviewers had handbooks that they read the questions right out of. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. After the interview, I was told I should hear back from them in the next few days about scheduling a second interview with the store manager. So about 3 days later I got a call to come in for a second interview, for the next day 5/7. I went in for the next interview and it was also a group interview, with an assistant store manager. It was very similar to the first one, but shorter. After that interview I was told they would check references and get back to me later that week. I didn't hear anything from them, so I called the store on 5/13 and asked about the job (like what stage they were in, in the hiring process, if they checked my references). Then I was told the hiring manager had been out of town and would get to them later that day. The next day 5/14 I received a call saying they didn't forget about me, but that they just had to check my references and I should hear from them by the end of the week. I was feeling uncertain that I got the job, I thought they were just jerking me around and would end up not offering me a position. And then when I just about gave up hope, I received a call on 5/19 from a manager offering me a position as a sales associate that would be cross trained in all other areas and asked to come in the following week to start training 5/28. So it was a long process, but it finally ended on a positive note.

Interview Details – I applied in person and got a call for an interview a month later. I got the choice of two interview dates. At the interview, unlike the other interviewees, I was dressed in black professional. The person that was going to interview me shift was almost over so I was placed with the others. There were five girls including me around the high school and college age. We went to the food court for the interview. This one girl and I have never had a job before. One girl has never bought anything from Victoria's Secret before and another seemed bored. The interviewer gave each of us a chance to answer the questions. When the interview was done, the interviewer made sure we had our references written down and dismissed us. The interview was about 45 minutes long. I felt like I was one of the girls with the better responses but all I had to reference were my volunteer experiences.

Interview Details –
I applied and waited a few days before I called. They said they had been very busy and took down my name and phone number. A week went by so I went in and they took down my name and number again.
A couple days later I was called for an interview. There was one other girl interviewing with me. It went extremely well and i was called a week later to set up a second interview with the store manager. There was the girl I was with in the first interview and one other. It also went very well and I was confident I got the job. They told us that they were hiring for every position.
It wasn't until almost an entire month later that I got a letter in the mail saying there weren't any positions available and they would keep my resume on file for 6 months in case a spot opened up.
Interview Question – There weren't any difficult questions, really easy interview. They asked about a time we had seen someone do something they weren't suppose to and how we felt, a time we experienced bad customer service and how we would fix it, why we wanted to work at VS, and other simple questions like that! Interview Details – I was really disappointed through the growth process at this particular store. Never was I interviewed for this position. Instead someone left and they thought I would do well with the role and they gave it to me. However, not having a formal interview meant i lost the chance to ask Important salary and benefits questions which created some serious long term problems.
Negotiation Details – Be persistent with salary and benefits requirements and be sure your supervisor follows through.

Interview Details – Went in store to get application. Brought it back and got a call back a 2 weeks later to come in for an interview. At the interview the hiring manager just took me to the back of the store and started asking questions. It was very relaxed and casual. They asked questions like why do you want to for Victoria's secrets? Are you comfortable seeing and helping women, when they aren't wearing a lot of clothes?
Interview Question – What are 3 words that your past co-workers would say to describe you as an employee? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Nothing.

Interview Details – Went and applied in person, I got a call back in about 3 days. It is suggested to wear all black so they can get a better picture as if you already work there. (I wore all black) The interview was with 13 other people. They mostly expected you to stand out from the crowd and be quick on your feet. That same week, I got a call back for my second interview. All questions were pretty standard. Why do you want to work for us? Honestly, it didn't even feel like an interview because they made you feel right at home. The most important thing of all, be confident and don't forget to smile.
Interview Question – If you see a customer stealing how could you approach them about it? View Answer
Negotiation Details – No negotiation.

Interview Details – I went into the store to turn in my application and had an on the spot interview with a cash wrap lead. Next, I had a group interview with about 12 other girls. Here, you just want to stand out as much as possible. I had an advantage because the manager interviewing all of us graduated from my college and had the same major as me! Just have confidence and you'll be fine.
