Interviewed Mar 2012 in Chattanooga, TN (took a day)
I went in and asked if they weere hiring and was told yes. I filled out the application and brought it back the same day. The next day I was called for an interview being held that Friday. I dressed in all black since that's our dresscode and answered all the questions with as much honest enthusiasm as possible. There were two other girls in my interview, which was held at a table in the food court. One of the girls had previous experience working at a VS in NY, which upon hearing I was sure she would be gettig fhe jo, but stayed optomistic about my chances. The second girl worked at her school and came to the interviw wearing khakis with a yellow shirt, flats, and dangly gold and pink earrings. Needles to say she had not done her research. They asked us a few basic interview questions and what part of the store we would enjoy working in. Basically they want someone pretty with a great perrsonality and some retail experience. The girl who worked in ny got hired and so did I. They called meback a couple days later and told me I got the job and to come in for orientation that Sunday.

Interviewed May 2012 in Cary, NC (took a day)
The interview was with 5 other girls. I was the only one who wore all black, just like the VS employees. We went to one of the stock rooms in the store and were told to create name tags by an associate. It was nerve racking at first, but soon we all striked up a good conversation. The category manager was so nice and asked many questions like, "What would an employer say if they could describe you in 3 words?", "What would you do if there was a line of people at the cash register?". The questions were easy and it was free for anyone to jump in. I felt extremely confident, because some of the girls didn't have any retail experience (I have never worked in retail). Everyone had a restaurant background, which was nice to know. After the interview only myself and another girl shock hands with the manager. I walked back to give her my resume, even though I already submitted one with my application (It never hurts to show you really want it!). I haven't received an offer yet, but I am hoping to hear back soon! The manager said they would be calling in a few days. Definitely go in there and be confident! Speak clearly and be loud! Do look at this site for other questions so you know what the manager may ask. Update: I just got hired as of Saturday, May 26th!

Interviewed May 2012 in Houston, TX (took 1 week)
I went to the store and turned in the app for the VS. The next day I received a call from VS for a interview the next following day. To prepare for the interview, I basically read many of the questions and comments on this website. I dressed in all black because I know that all the workers wear all black, so why not dress like an actual employee. when I arrived at the interview, I met with the lady that would be interviewing 2 other ladies and myself. We went to the food court and the whole interview was really laid back. The interview consisted of basic Interview questions. About a week later I got all call backs to schedule a 2nd interview.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took a day)
I dropped off my application and got a call for an interview about a week later and was told it'd be a group interview. During the interview my interviewer was extremely nice and excited to be with us and wanted to get to know us on a personal level. The questions she asked were general sales questions like "how would you approach your customers?" etc.

Interviewed May 2012 in Oakbrook Terrace, IL (took a day)
After I turned in my application I was given an interview the following day. The interview was a group interview and there were 6 of us who were lead to a room and sat around a table with the interviewer sitting across from us. I only had one interview with them, which was the group interview, and it was very organized and it went very smoothly. The interviewer was very friendly, the staff who I talked to briefly before the interview were also very nice, and the overall environment was fun and energetic!

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Orland Park, IL (took 5 days)
I applied for the job in-person to work during the Christmas Season. I was called back within days for a group interview. I was hired within that next week for the position. Its was a pretty easy job and I enjoyed the expereince and was hired to continue to work past the Christmas season. You are constantly talked to through an ear piece during your shift to meet sales goals and you are pushed to promote Credit Card apps, but not to the point that you may loose you job if you don't. I only left the position because they would not let me take two days off work during the Semi-Annual sale week to go to classes I couldn't miss (grad school) even with two weeks notice. Loved the job though.

Interviewed Apr 2012 (took 1+ week)
I was called on a Friday and asked a few initial questions, following that I had a 1:1 interview which consisted of a full page of typical retail questions. (What would you do if you saw a coworker stealing, what would you do if a customer said they were just looking, etc). I received a call the following day saying that they wanted me back for another interview. So a couple days later I went again, this time meeting a different lady, and was asked another full page of questions of similar nature to the first. She told me a little bit about the company and what would be expected of me if I got the job, and then she informed me that if I was successful I would be contacted by next week. The next day they called all of my references, and on the same day they called me with an offer.

Interviewed May 2012 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
Turned in my application and got a call the next day to set up an interview for the following week. I knew they usually do group interviews but she never mentioned it on the phone, and it did end up being with 2 other girls. I was the only one that wore all black like the actual employees and the other girls wore skirts/heels which i personally felt was a little too dressed up for victoria's secret. The interview was really short, she only asked us 3 questions and she went in a circle. I sat in the middle so i could listen to the girl next to me give her answers and i could think some more on mine. They do call your references!! I won't know until next week if i got the job but i hope i do! Just relax, be honest with your answers, talk clearly and smile. :)
