I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Videojet Technologies Inc in March 2013.

    Interview Details

manager tries to break you down and convince you that the job demand is too difficult... like a monkey can't dial the phone 100 times a day with no intention of ever reaching anyone of importance.

    Reasons for Declining

seemed like an awful place to work and overall job morale seemed very low.

They skipped right to face-to-face interview, no phone screen. Seem like a very laid back environment. The manager took most of the hour explaining the product. The two developers didn't ask any technical question just over view of my previous work. Really a waste of my time and theirs.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week - interviewed at Videojet Technologies Inc in November 2010.

    Interview Details

3 interviews with 1st being with HR. Next is with sales manager and then director. Questions were not too tough especially with the director. Work culture is completely relaxed and you could hear a pen drop from the other side of the building. I've never seen a silent sales department operate. All of the people are just trying to deceive their bosses to keep their positions. For the salary it kind of makes sense.

Received initial call from a job recruiter while on terminal leave from the military. Had a phone interview with the field service manager, discussed basic skill requirements, salary, compensation and benefits. Flown to Chicago to interview with the Head of Field Service and his superior.

    Interview Questions
    • Required to take a written exam, where I was to complete calculations for travel expenses. The exam was given like a high school math word problem. Was tricky to complete because I was unfamiliar with these types of calculations at the time.   Answer Question

I applied online - interviewed at Videojet Technologies Inc in July 2008.

    Interview Details

The process involved a face-to-face interview in Atlanta, and then a follow-up interview at corporate head quarters. The interviews at corporate HQ took a full day. During the process, interviewed with 6 managers and executives, each interview was one-on-one.

The culture is hard paced, with goals that are typically not able to be accomplished, hence they are stretch goals. Most everyone is driven to succeed.

face to face interview with software manager, none of technical stuff, more like formal conversation. Interviewer asked me how to measure my technical ability!!! ????? then asked me to send him some of written code !!!! I sent them three code snippets, two of them fully documented and one very simple but very tricky code (without any explanation) that on surface looks like helloworld kind of code but under hood it was code that shows typical vulnerability in c++ code to manipulate array overflow to change the instruction pointer. I purposefully included this code without any explanation as I had doubt about myself being technically overqualified for the team. And feedback was just as I expected They were concerned at the lack of documentation and notation within the code I had provided, although they did appreciate the complexity of some of the code I have written. Meaning they were baffled with simple code and could make out of it.

In india, Initially there will be sweet talks to make you comfortable. when it comes to compensation they are very stingy. only good about this company that it belongs to danaher group. else if it would have been a stand alone entity it would have been declared sick or would have shut down. Indian leadership is a mess. every one has to escape any responsibility. punching & the field force to get the orders without understanding the market.
