I noticed the ad on Craigslist asking for workers who know about computers and asked to reply with a resume. After I sent in my resume, I was contatced by the hiring manager the next day and asked when can I come in for an interview. I went in for my interview and it was your standard office setting. The secretary, who is also the hiring manager sits at a desk in the front of the building. I walked up to her and she asked me about myself and I basically just went over my resume. After restating what is on my resume, she takes me around the office building into different rooms. Then she proceeds to tell me what the job entails. We went to the back of the office, where there were three rows of computers for annotators and one row of computers for the computer techs. We sat at a computer and she showed me what I was going to be doing. after she should me what to do she told me to finish while she left. I went and got her after I finish and she checked my work. She verified that it was right and asked if I wanted the job. I accepeted the job and we went to fill out paperwork, I-9 and all that other stuff. After the paperwork was filled out she said I could start working that day if I wanted to. I declined and came in the next day for my shift to start at 8.
