Interviewed Jan 2012 (took 2 weeks)
Visa's recruiting process appears to be very disorganized. I had reached out to the recruiter via email, the recruiter did not conduct a typical phone screen and instead had me talk to the hiring manager directly. The hiring manager asked me to fly to CA for in-person panel interview. I interviewed with 6 people (30 minutes) each, key thing to keep in mind.. NO HR involvement yet.. they didn't even know my current salary or expectations and flew me out...
The interviewers generally seemed disinterested and noone made any effort to sell the company which I found very alarming.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Foster City, CA (took 8 weeks)
After a phone screening with HR and the hiring manager, an all day interview was arranged. (2 weeks after the phone interview) It was your typical group interview and most of the questions were standard "cookie-cutter" types. The people were friendly but seemed stressed and overworked. It took several calls and e-mails to finally get a response/offer (another 3 weeks or so) The HR/Recruiter are not always very prompt in getting back to you so be persistent.

I countered their offer and got what I wanted. Do not accept a low offer if if it's more than your current salary. The hours are long so and promotions and salary increases take time at Visa,

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Foster City, CA (took 6 weeks)
1 call screen with HR, 1 call screen with hiring manager, 1 day of interviews with all team members. Offer came within a week of meetings. Having a competing offer at the same time accelerated the process. Very well organized and friendly work culture with all people involved. Top of the line.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took a day)
I sent in my resume through my school career counseling website and received a call for an interview. The recruiter was very flexible in working with me to sent up an interview time even though I was traveling abroad. I ended up doing my interview through the phone.
I spoke to two supervisors who asked me questions about my experience and knowledge of Visa and anti-trust in general. Even though I received much praise and positive feedback from one of the interviewers on my perceptiveness and knowledge, I was not offered an interview for the second round.
Questions included:
Tell me more about X experience in your prior internship.
How would X experience help you in this internship role?

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Miami, FL (took 1 week)
Overall the interview was a great experience. The Interviewer was very laid back and smiled a lot, was not intimidating at all, really allowed me to be comfortable and to just be myself.
Job was easy to get, just smile, be honest with yourself, be positive, be ambitious, and just lay out all this passion on why you want to explore this new career opportunity.
