No Offer – Interviewed in Vancouver, BC (Canada) – Reviewed Feb 24, 2013
Interview Details – Seemed like a professional yet causal place to work. My first interview was with the VP of HR, and it went well so she set me up with the managers in the department that was hiring. My second interview went really well and they showed me around the office. Then I was called back for a third interview. I had to follow up to see if I got the job, and in the end it went to someone from another research firm that already somewhat knew the position.

Interview Details – I applied for a position in one of their US offices and was transferred to have interviews with another office. It was all fine except I felt that they just wanted to get some inside info from my current companies. I had more than 4 interviews and they all said "it's for future opportunity". It was just very creepy the way they did it. It was completely a waste of my time and I will definitely not consider this company in the future.
Interview Question – Questions were not difficult at all. But why did you want to know how my company did A and the process instead of my role & responsibilities, and how I have achieved/not achieved? Answer Question

No Offer – Interviewed in Toronto, ON (Canada) Apr 2012 – Reviewed May 10, 2012
Interview Details –
This is one of the boring interview I ever had.
1.First I received a invitation for Telephonic interview with their recruiter.
2.Then recruiter called and asked me some basic questions and sent me a set of technical interview questions which I need to complete and send it back in 1 hour.
2.Then the next day I received a call for 1:1 interview in their toronto office.
3.When I went there, there were 2 people, 1 is the director and other is the technical person. They appreciated the technical test and we were commonly talking about my experiences in my job.
4.Then after 2 days I received a request for my references.
5.Then again I received a call for telephonic interview again.. (This is one of the frustrating part), where I need to get permission from my office again and again for all their interviews.
6.Then in the interview they were again asking the same questions on my experiences and whether I like to take their job and if it will be interesting to me, I said, yes of course.
7.After 2 days again I received an email, saying they moved with other candidate.
8.I was not much depressed, since I was not happy with my time they spent for decision making and they were so much in confusion of their own demand.

Interview Details –
I got the interview from going to the company networking event that was hosted in Toronto. At the event they gave me a 5 minutes interview asking me basic questions such as:
1) Why do you want to work here
2) How comfortable are you with SPSS
3) What is teamwork for you?
4) What is your career plan?
After I answered these questions they called me a week later to tell me that they want to interview me for the position. This time, there were 3 people interviewing me.
They asked questions such as:
What do you know about this position?
Why do you want to work at Vision Critical?
How do you deal with obsticles?
Would you rather work at a fun team or serious team?
Tell me about a time when you were really innovative in your academic or job experience.
Tell me about the biggest challenge you faced in the past 2 years.
Why are you interested in this position? future career path?
What type of professors do you like the most? what type do you like the least?
