Interviewed Sep 2011 in Novato, CA (took 2 days)
Heard about the position through a friend. Visual Concepts is part of 2K Sports. They work on NBA games (some MLB as well). Was invited to come in and speak to the two Art Directors that co-supervise the Creative team; spoke with one AD that day. I prepped for the interview by creating two quick UI/Motion Graphics pieces, which were received well and appreciated. Was initially very impressed with company/offices, environment, and the people I spoke with. Felt I did well at both interviews, felt relaxed and confident. Was called in for a second interview, with the other AD who had been out of the office; this interview also went very well. At the end, was told there were 2 or so other applicants in the running, but that I was the favorite. I was summarily denied the position a few days later. Very disappointed -- I wanted to work there, and would have worked well with the team (at least, that's my opinion).

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Novato, CA (took a day)
Applied through the Monster.com. Got a 30 minutes phone screen by a technical recruiter. They asked me to write a solution for their programming puzzle. I emailed them my solution next day and they invited me for the on-site interview. There is no 1-1 interview. Basically, they printed out a few interview questions and asked me to write down answers. There are 5 questions and they gave me 2 hours to work on it. After they reviewed my answers, I had an interview with two senior engineers. They went over my answers basically. Eventually, I went to talk to the engineer director and they gave me an offer package the following day.
