Vocus Account Executive Interview Questions & Reviews

I attended the Open House back in September 2011 that I heard about from a current employee. Had a chance to meet and talk to multiple managers and get an idea of the different roles that Vocus offered. They told me about the positions, what to expect, what the average day is like, etc. Reviewed my resume, focusing on previous sales experience, quotas, revenue and performance criteria. I got a call for a 1:1 interview for the following week, where I meet with one manager and then another, both in the sales department. 2 weeks later had a 2nd interview set for over the phone where I had to 'sell' myself and why they should pick me over the other possibles. Following day I received the offer and accepted.
My advice to those interested is to come prepared! Do the research. If you're going for a sales position, know or have an idea about the product that you'd be selling. Come with questions. Nothing says this is a bad interview then having them do all the talking. They wont want to spend a lot of time doing that which leads it being a short interview. Not a good sign.
