Interviewed May 2011 in Mumbai (India) (took 4+ weeks)
1st round was telephonic with a panel of 3 people, who asked and tested very basic skillset knowledge. This panel said they'll get back and it took a few days before I got a response. The 2nd round was a face-to-face one with a single interviewer, who, once again tested my basic knowledge. Very soon an offer was sent to me.

The interviewer asked me questions about myself and made me comfortable with the work environment of the company.Then he went on to ask me a questions about my skill set as well as certain logical questions.
Further he asked me to design an algorithm for an ATM industry.

tata communication phone interview was normal like any telecom company,
Face to face interview was two rounds and first round was common technical questions.and second round was little bit tough to reply.the deep telecom procedures to check the depth of knowledge in subject.
