Interviewed Jun 2009 (took 6 weeks)
As I worked for them already, there was an opportunity to be a BM which I appliied for. No one said anything for about 4 weeks and finally I got a call to come in and one of the interviewer was late by 1 hour and so I had to wait. the questions started and having worked in the Banking Industry all my life, I was at ease with the questions and the flow and defenitely think I did the best and yet I was not offerred the position. I guess it is a hog wash. The person who came late started to yawn couple of times while the interview was progressing and while I think it is odd, I also think that itwas a signal to the other interviewer that he does not like my candidacy and within minutes the questions were wrapped up. They kept repeating some questions in different ways.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Pottsville, PA (took 2 weeks)
Most contact was made by the recruiter. Process seemed to take extremely long. Almost seemed like there was some kind of communication disconnect between the store manager and the recruiter. Background check consitsted of fingerprinting. Actual Interview was about 1/2 hour long and contained questions about my sales style and work history.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Columbia, SC (took 1 week)
I met with a contact whose an FA at Well's Fargo. He forwarded my resume onto the recruiter. I participated in a phone interview then a panel interview the next week which consisted of 3 interviewers (Two district managers and a regional manager). The questions were all situational, "Tell me about a time when you handled an upset client", "Tell me about your biggest sale", "Tell me how you would handle a client who wants to close their account", "Tell me what motivates you", and finally, I was asked to give a one minute commercial explaining why I was the best candidate for the position. I received a phone call 36 hours later and was offered a job.
The best advice I can give anyone is to study before the interview. I typed up all the questions and answers before I participated in my panel interview and it helped tremendously as there was not a single question I was asked which I did not immediatley know the answer. Also, consistently look the interviewers in the eye, and make sure to speak to each of them while answering a question. They grade the interview from a client's perspective. Most importantly, be very, very, specific with your answers. Don't say that something took a long time, but rather one month. They are very, very, stringent about this.
