Applied online and received a phone call from the pharmacy manager a few days later. Came in to complete the assessment test, interview with pharmacy manager and received orders for drug test. Shortly after, completed computer training for one week.

Filled out an app online and that same day I went in to finish the process by taking the computer skills test at a store. Three days later the pharm manager called me to schedule a short interview with the store manager and himself. He asked me basic questions on the phone. That same week on a Friday I went to the store and they asked me questions about experience and why I wanted to work in the pharmacy. The interview was super easy and seemed to pass by too fast. They said they would give me a call by Monday. They did and called me in to take a drug test. After they got the paper back saying i passed, they offered me the job and I accepted.

Told me I would start off at 10/hr and once im certified 13.25/hr. Its really not negotiable especially with no work experience like me

I applied online, and started the skills test. Then it told me to go in-store to finish and which point i also set up my interview. The interview was basic, mostly seemed like he was trying to see if I was a quick learner and trustworthy. I was offered the job there and we scheduled my training days for the next week.

I applied online for the Pharmacy Technician position at Walgreens. A few days later, I received a call from the hiring manager and scheduled me for an interview. He asked me about my past work experiences, what I liked and disliked about past jobs, conflict (if any) with coworkers, reason why I applied for the job and scheduling availability. The manager was friendly and the interview felt like having a normal conversation with someone.

The interview consists of like four questions either asked by the store manager and the pharmacy manager or just one of them. They are behaviorally based. Focus on customer service and problem solving. Only get an interview after you fill out the online app then go into a physical location to take a skills test (math, spelling, etc.).

No negotiation. The amount of stress from this postion should be taken into consideration when only being paid 9.25 an hour. They want you to become certified w/in one year and you only get a dollar raise.

I walked-in every single walgreens in town to speak with pharmacy manager for the job opening. I got lucky and got called in the next day. Pharmacy manager and the store manager asked handful of questions to find out why I want the job, why I am the best candidate, previous experiences with customers etc. They told me in many times they'd hire potential pharmacy technician candidate as cashier to see if they are trustworthy.

A friend of mine left for pharmacy school and referred me to replace her. I met with the store manager and pharmacy manager and had a 2 on 1 interview. They said my friend was a great employee so her referral weighed alot to them. My interview process was probably different from other people.

The goal was stated from the manager. She explained the purpose of the company, gave competent scheduling goals, and negotiated how I could be trained properly. The manager asked questions on work ethic, abilities, and many other aspects that are good skills for the potential job.

Must take several basic mathematical and comprehensive test during initial interview process. Most everything in done electronically from the application to the initial testing. Once you pass their "skills" test you are then given a personal interview. This was mostly oriented toward customer service experience and ability and willingness to learn strict company policy.
