I applied online, then went into a store because you have to take another test in their store. Then I spoke with the store manager and he said he will be interviewing in a few days. I showed up for the interview and it went great. I got a call like 3 days later saying there was a hiring freeze. :(

First I had to take a skills and personality test. Then a few days later I received a call that set an interview date. In the interview they asked me questions like why do you want the job, whats your highest education, and for me personally asked me what days I am going to college. After the college questions, I was told they were hiring those days, and they sent me on my jobless way.

My application stated I was looking for part-time or seasonal, but the manager ended up not wanting to hire me because I didn't want to be full-time. I'm a full-time college student and could not do that. He wasted my time, and his, when he could have just read my resume.

The first question they asked was what I knew about their company. I looked up a bit of information but not enough to wow the interviewer. Research the companies history before you go. Throughout the whole thing I was so nervous, fumbling through my answers. It would be good to prepare Q&A beforehand which i did, but it didnt help cuz im a spaz. needless to say the interviewer was not impressed with me. If you don't have work experience it would also be good to volunteer and elaborate on how that would make you a vluable candidate, which i do volunteer but I didnt elaborate because i was so nervous. Im such a spaz.

The interview was pretty uneventful. I recevied a call from the HR recruiter and did some high level interview to discuss my background and the job description. After that telephone interview, then I proceeded to set an in person interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager asked some relevent questions to try to match up my skill set and the job description.

Because of the employee referral, the interview was very brief. I was basically asked of all my experience, and education level. I only had one interview and after the 10 to 15 questions, it was over. The total process was approximately 15 minutes. I was finally given directions to the clinic where the drug test was to be performed.

Applied online. The store manager contacted me within 5 to 7 days regarding my online interview and I set up an interview date. The interview was brief. I answered a few questions about what to do with difficult customers and demonstrated my skills in basic addition and subtraction in case the register breaks. I got the job on the spot, I just had to pass the background check and the drug test, which I did.
