I turned in my app and a week later got a call from an Assistant Manager. The interview lasted about 15 minutes and consisted of a lot of "name a time when...". I received a second interview 1/2 hour later with a different Asst Manager. Same questions. A few days later I was called in and offered the job.

Applied online. Was called approx a week later and asked to come in for interview the next day. First person simply explained the job was temp and that there was a possiblity for permanent placement later. Was then passed off to a ZSM for 2nd part. ZSM verified all information on applicaton was correct and asked a few situational questions. Was sent out to wait for next interview. After 10 minutes was called back to interview with Asst Manager. She simply asked 5 more situational questions. Was told I had the job, they just had to contact references. After about 10 more minutes was called in to accept or reject offer and given paperwork for drug test that they insisted be done that day.

I applied online for a part-time job at Walmart as a cashier. When you apply online you also have to complete an assesment to know more about your personality and how you would react in certain situations. Two days later I was given a phone call by one of the managers. I was asked to explain what I did at my previous jobs and why I applied at Walmart. Then I was asked a series of questions which were more "behaviourial interview questions". I was also asked to participate in a group interview which was held a few days later. The group interview consisted of presenting ourselves to the managers, some role playing, and speed interviews ( somewhat like speed dating). All in all, it was a great experience! I was nervous about doing the group interview, but it isn't all that bad!

I called the personal person, and negotiated my availability over the phone to get the interview. Once in the interview, I was relaxed and friendly because I already knew that I had what they were looking for at this time of year. An experienced Blitz participant, having survived two, I deserve a medal.

The interview process did not take long at all. I was called for an interview about a month after submitting my application. The interview took nearly 3 hours, 2 hours of just waiting! The interview consisted of a 1 on 1 interview then 3 associates interviewed me at the same time. After the interview was over i was told i would be called in a week. They kept there promise and called me back in a week for a third interview. At the third interview i read policy papers, got my position and salary. I also filled out a form for a background check. After i was done with the third interview i had 48 hours to take a drug test. Once all that was done i was contacted within 2 weeks with an orientation date.

Interesting interview, in that my interviewer had never given one before. She was completely unprofessional read questions off a sheet she found on the internet, couldn't even read them properly. Luckily after 10 minutes of frustration for me and the higher up in the room with us, the higher up decided to take over. The higher up impressed even though she did seem uninterested completely.

I have to basically chase down a manager to even get and interview. I went in and they seemed kinda cold and irritated and the employees looks overworked, so I was already kinda rethinking working for them...They asked simple questions and then told me they'd call me back. They never did...

applied online, got a call went for an interview, then a second interview got offered the job but had come back because somehow my SS# got entered in there system incorrectly(probably my fault) so had to wait till that was fixed for them to call me back. went back and filled out paperwork for HR and Background check and got drug test paperwork.

Two 1:1 interviews, with a CSM and the assistant manager. The computer system failed, so I had to return the next day to finish the interview. Despite showing up early for my appointment, I had to wait upwards of an hour for the assistant manager to realize that he had an interview to do.

I was called about 3 weeks after I applied online. I went in the next day (friday) for an interview. I got the job and was told to return for orientation on the next day (saturday). Orientation was held on saturday and training started on sunday. Once I started, I was never trained in the area for which I was hired. They had me all over the store doing other people's jobs. I worked for a week and quit because it was just not for me.
