I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Walmart.

Interview Details – When I first got to the store I was about 15 minutes early for my interview. I was promptly greeted and taken into the back. I had two interviews that day, one with my position supervisor and then one with a hourly manager. Interview was quick and easy. They asked the simple questions that takes a second to actually think about. After these two interviews I came about a week later to talk with a manager, I signed all required paperwork and was good to go.

Interview Question – They asked a question about what when was there a time when you went out of your way to satisfy a costumer.   Answer Question

I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Walmart in June 2010.

Interview Details – I applied online and received a call about two weeks later. The interview process consisted of three interviews. At the first interview, they asked all the general questions. The second interview consisted of offering the job, and the third interview was for drug testing. Essentially, if you make it to the second interview, you have bagged the job.

Interview Question – "Explain a time when you could not meet a customer's needs, and what you did to fix the situation."

For a lot of people applying at Walmart, they either haven't had customer service jobs, or any jobs previously.
  Answer Question

Negotiation Details – There was no negotiation. Walmart works on a pay-tier system, and starting pay is the same for everyone there.
