Interviewed Dec 2011 in Excelsior Springs, MO (took a day)
I put the position on my "dream sheet" at the request of a supervisor who wanted me in the position. When management told me I was up for the position, they asked me some standard attitudinally based questions, then they offered me the position. Very streamlined process, not too different from my initial hire interview a year and a half ago. More questions then since they did not have any performance reports on file for me then. Now they see what they have and want more, I guess.

Interviewed May 2011 in Ottawa, KS (took 1 week)
The individuals that interviewed me at Wal-mart Distribution were interested in my work ethic and honesty. The interviewers were quick and concise with their questions and the entire interviewing process. The environment at work is just like I perceived except that my co-workers are all hard working. Overall, It is a pleasant place to work if you do not mind sweating a little bit :)

Received and Declined Offer

Interviewed Jun 2009 in Olathe, KS (took 2 days)
Although I waited 20 minutes (where I was advised someone would be there to get me at my appointed time) before someone asked if they could help me, and the woman from personnel assisted me, the interview process went well. The first person asked all the basic scripted questions, then asked a manager to come back for an immediate second interview. The manager asked fewer of the scripted questions, went over the pay rate and what the position would be. She then gave the form for the drug test and advised they had to wait for the drug test and background check to come back. I was offered the position 2 business days later.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
I declined the offer because I accepted another position at a higher paying wage at full-time hours. Additionally, the wage was too low and the position wasn't the one I applied for.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.
