Interviewed Mar 2012 in Fayetteville, AR (took 5 days)
First was a HR Interview, which asked basic questions about my background and my past work.
Second round was a panel of 3, asking analytical questions based on my passed work experience.
Know your resume inside out. They will ask you around 20 behavioral questions. Thus study and have examples of all behavioral questions.
They also wanted proficiency in SAP for this role. However in the end the role was cancelled.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Anchorage, AK (took 2 months)
Application was extensive with additional testing along the way. First interview was a one one free form getting to know each other, next was a scripted interview within a group setting that took about 2 hours. Then I had two additional phone interviews, one scripted behavioral and one freeform about the business. The last interview was in person more personal about myself.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Augusta, GA (took a day)
Applied online and took applicable skills tests. Received a call a week later. Interview was straight forward with typical questions ranging from customer satisfaction scenarios to conflict resolution scenarios. Drug screening and background check the following morning. Was not told immediately, but typically if asked to submit background and drug screening, you have received the job unless you do not pass both screenings. orientation a couple weeks later after results arrived.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took a day)
It was the same usual interview questions about past experience, nothing major. There were also questions about my personality and how well I fit into a team environment. Salary was discussed at the last moment and I was given the chance to negotiate before accepting an offer. The people who interviewed me were very friendly. Took me to lunch after interview.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 6 days)
Initially met at a career fair with local HR representative, who expressed great interest. Two days later, we scheduled for a career day at the local store for a panel interview. Although, my interest was in a corporate position, the HR representative indicated that if their offer was not acceptable, they would refer me directly to the corporate office staff.
The interview was behavioral in nature with situational answers preferred. Interested personnel should be familiar with behavioral type questions and have situations that address the primary areas. Overall, the interview went very well and the HR staff was very professional. However, the panel and the HR representative were reminded that my overall desire was to gain a corporate position and although it was originally offered, the referral to the corporate HR personnel never occurred.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Omaha, NE (took 3 weeks)
They're going to ask: "Why haven't you had a job?"
Your answer better be something akin to years of college and volunteer work or some other completely engrossing and impressive endeavor.
I know it's just Wal-Mart, but with no work history at all, you aren't showing them that they can rely on you in any context.
