It was a 2 part interview. For the first part, I was interviewed by the hiring manager. They were situational/ behavorial type questions in the workplace. After I passed that part of the interview, I was interviewed by a panel of 3 people which included the pharmacist. The questions were pretty much the same. After that interview was over, they asked me if I had any questions for them and I asked how soon were they willing to hire? They told me that I could sit in the photo center and they would come up with a decision. Afterwards, the pharmacist came to where I was and said that she wanted to hire me part time. I was cool with that because I really wanted a job. We went to the back, fillled out the paperwork, and then I was told to do a drug test at a lab. I should start work sometime next week.

The last interview I had was moving from a Customer Service Manager to a Pharmacy Technician. I had previously talked to the pharmacy manager and expressed interest in his tech opening. We then had a 1 on 1 interview process where he asked me many questions of what I would do in certain situations based of previous experience. After I passed that part, I had to take a more extensive drug test than I did to get into Walmart. Another backgroug check was taken as well.

I had applied for the job about three months prior to getting called in for an interview. Jobs as pharmacy techs don't come open often so you have to be persistant. I was called about interviewing on a Wednesday and I went in for the actual interview the next day.
The first person to interview me was someone, I believe, from personelle. Pretty standard questions. After that interview they "advanced me to the next round."
My second interview was with the pharmacist. Most of the question were similiar to the first interview but they were trying to get their own feel for me. There were two other people interviewing and they said they would call me back and let me know if I got the job within a week.
The next day I was called with a job offer :) I haven't started yet but I am very excited to take on the responsibilities of pharmacy technian.

I first interviewed with the hiring manager. I thought he was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. He couldn't understand why I would want to switch from child care to the pharmacy. I simply stated that I needed a stable position and one with upward mobility and benefits. That same day I was asked back to interview with the pharmacist which went a little better. They asked the basic questions and the pharmacist seemed friendly.

The pharmacist and store manager will each interview you together for approximately thirty minutes. They ask four questions each about situations that you have overcame in your past. They ask you how you resolve customer complaints. They even have you describe a scenario of the time when you had difficulty communicating with a patient and what did you do to resolve the issue.

Was called in 2 months after filling out online application. I interviewed with an hourly manager who seemed to like me a lot. Was then given a second interview with another manager. I waited out in the hall for about 20 minutes. Manager came out and told me that "we were trying to do something, but can't, so we will let you know in a couple days. I've still got 8 interviews." Um, what? I was under the impression I had the job; not sure what happened in that 20 minutes, but I've yet to receive an offer.

Everyone was very friendly since the first time I stepped foot into the hiring center. I applied in the store and was offered an interview within a week. My interview was a two-step process and I did both interviews in the same day. The interviewers were easy going. The interview questions required some thought to answer, especially if you have not had much work experience because they are situational questions. In fact, the whole interview did not consist of any "tell me about yourself" type of questions.
