They basically offered me a job on the spot. I had worked there before. There was a drug screening. They asked a bunch of what if questions. I answered them in a satisfactory way. It was an easy interview. I dressed casual, khakis and dress shirt.

The hireing process is conducted in a normal faxhion where there is a one on one interview with multiple members of the store. The individuals conducting the interviews seem to be only going through the motions. As an anticipated prospective employee works hie way through the three interviews, the interviewersw seem to have a difficult tine finding a private area to conduct the seemingly quick process

Long... From on-line testing, going 2 store & flat out waiting for interview (yes, the pick the time) but you'll wait about 1 hour or more... If they dont reschedule after they make u wait- bc what they have to do is always more important! u have to pass drug test... Then u have tp wait two more weeks for them to finally call u back- if u call them they get aggitated! The whole 2-3month process is crap! Then u dont know what ur job or schedule will be... Or what u will get paid by the hour... The company is set up for a lower class mentality- bc u would be schocked if u knew how such a money making giant operated day-to-day operations. Its appauling!

Reason for Declining
Bc the pay raise of .40¢ an hour just wasnt worth the stress of being on call 24/7 to make $22K a year... Most wm employees have a family & the expections wm puts on its associates is foat out unrealistic! Worst place in the USA to work!!!

Good organized step by step process. I think the hr department is the only thing organized and professional in the store.

There was no pay negotiation. Apparently they hire based on base pay within category and not experience. You can negotiate scheduling.

I was called in for a face to face interview. I got there and first interviewed with a CSM who asked about 10 behavioral questions. She then paged for a assistant manager who asked about 5 more behavioral questions, then I was offered the job. The process was overall pretty easy going.

There was about 4 female managers there asking me those "what if questions" i wore jeans and they said next time don't dot hat..i feel like i failed on the questions but i guess they liked me because i got to go to interview number two i swear i though they were done with the questions but noo well i failed that too but at the end i "cheesed" it up and told her that i love helping the customers bla bla bla and she gave me those sparkly eyes and i knew i was hired and i did =)..once you get that pink slip you are hired

I interviewed with a manager, who was very kind and sweet. Not only did she make me feel comfortable but she gave me good feed back and a lot of encouraging remarks. The interview itself its not so long but waiting for the paperwork to be processed may take a while.
