Walmart Stores Co-Manager Interview

Interview Details – I was recruited by the market human resource manager so my initial communication with the company was probably different from what some may experience. The interview process consisted of situational and behavioral interview questions asked by the market human resource manager and the store manager of the store in which I was applying. I had a second interview with the market manager which consisted of a casual walk around the store, in which we talked as we walked. I was asked questions as we walked in regard to my experience, my personal interests, my reasons for wanting to work at Wal-Mart, etc. This was much more comfortable than my first interview. The time in which it took to hear back after each interview was unexpectedly a long process. I was interviewing during the holiday season, so I can see that it would take a litte longer with the high volume the store was experiencing at the time. I would rate the interview as a positive experience.
