Interviewed Jun 2011 (took a day)
I got interviewed by both the Customer Service Manager and one of the Assistant Managers. The questions were like "describe a time when..." and "what would you do if..." They were really redundant and both of the interviews asked the same types of questions in different ways. I got offered the job the same day.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Dayton, TN (took 3 days)
I went into Walmart and applied for a job. A couple days to a week later (I dont really remember the exact time) I received a call back from a Human Resource manager and was asked if I could come in and interview for a cashier position. I went in there and I was interviewed by an hourly associate. Before long we were laughing with each other and before I knew it the interview was over. I waited for a good hour or longer after the first interview as the managers went to lunch. I was suppose to meet with an assistant manager and the store manager to have two other interviews. The assistant manager of the front end came back and told me that his hourly associate had said she liked me and I was offered the cashier job. I accepted and I had to take a drug test and wait for the background check to come back. I had been called back for an interview for a fitting room associate earlier last yr and was interviewed by the same person but didnt get the job. This time I got the job and I accepted. I no longer work there but it is an okay place to work if you can handle difficult managers difficult customers and demanding times at your store. It is a good place to work to get some job experience

Interviewed Nov 2011 (took a day)
I received a phone call to confirm the date of the interview four days before the interview. The day of the interview I came in the store and waited for a member of management. That manager took me back to personnel and asked me questions concerning how I would solve issues or problems. Then, a customer service manager interviewed me and asked similar questions. Then, based on how I answered they said they would call me references. Then, they sent me to take a drug test. The next day they called to set up my orientation date.

Interviewed Apr 2012 in Brewer, ME (took a day)
I applied and in about 2 weeks I was called for an interview. I had an interview 2 days after I was called. I interviewed with 2 people. I interviewed with someone (I dont know their job title) she asked me 5 questions, I came up with answers off the top of my head. I then interviewed with an assistant manager, she asked me the same type of questions the first person did. I then was told I had the job.

Negotiation Details
I wasn't able to negotiate. They just told me that my wage was $8.30 and hour. It was above minimum wage and I had no job experience, so it was good. I had to get a drug test done after I got my contract.

Interviewed Aug 2010 (took a day)
I applied online and was contacted 2-3weeks later. The hiring manager spoke to me on the phone for a few minuets and asked me a few questions and set up a time and date for a few days later. I interviewed first one-on-one with a manager, then in a panel interview with a department manager, ZMS and assistant manager. They dismissed me for a few minutes and the Assistant Manager told me I had a great chance of being hired and to expect a job offer.
I was called the next day with a job offer and request for a drug screening. I completed the drug-screening off site and was then called back into the office two days later to sign my paperwork and accept my job title and hourly rate. The whole process took about 7 working days.

Interviewed Jan 2010 (took a day)
They had me come in and I talked with at least 6 managers. Each interview was one on one but it was with a manager from every single department. There is two days of computer training and then you are tossed out onto the sales floor expected to know what to do already.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 3 days)
I set in a room with three managers and was asked a series of three part questions. It was a simple interview, trying to understand all three parts was the hardest part. Now that I also give interviews, I understand the reasoning behind it now.

Interviewed Apr 2012 in Omaha, NE (took 2 days)
Basically, two people will interview you, both will ask the same questions (for multiple perspectives, I suppose). Allegedly, the second interviewer is the one who offers you the job, then you will be asked to do a drug test, and they will contact your two references.
Questions are simple, and all of them begin with "Describe a situation in which..."
Each interview took 15-30 minutes for me, which was surprisingly quite short. First interviewer was an HR person, the second interviewer was the Assistant Manager.
