I was confronted by one of the managers and asked if I was interested in an APA position. I said I was. He described the position and asked if I had any questions. He told me I had to interview and that there were 2 other candidates. Later, he took me to his office and conducted the interview. The questions were the standard work place related scenarios. A few days later, he told me he chose somebody else.

A recruiter got in touch from Walmart.com's headquarter asking if I was available for a phone interview. The interview was scheduled twice, twice the recruiter missed the appointment and made up some silly excuses for not letting me know he wasn't going to make it...
Very disappointing, I'm glad nothing came out of it. I'm wondering if that's the common experience when interviewing with this company.

Interviewed Aug 2009 (took a day)
Interviewed for a management position, had 4 questions that i felt I answered well. Waited almost two weeks and was told even tho i interviewed well did not get position. Asked what I could have done better, got no answer. And a few of the people that did get the position are having trouble with position.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Bentonville, AR (took a day)
There were a panel of 6 members for the technical round. The discussion went for about 45 minutes. They asked me about what I am doing in my current job and checked for my leadership qualities, technical skill set, provided me a scenario and asked me how I would handle that scenario.
It was a very interesting discussion. I asked them about the environment I will be working in (if selected) and they were very accomodative of my questions.
